Information, not advice for your particular tree
The pages, guides, drawings and tools here are general information for property owners in and around Beaverton, Oregon. They are written with care, but no web page can assess a tree it hasn't seen. Don't rely on the site to decide whether a specific tree is safe, and never use it as a reason to delay in an emergency. If a tree is on a structure or near wires, call 911, your utility and a tree service.
Permits and rules
Our summaries of city, county and state rules, including the permit checker, are plain-language summaries and not legal determinations. Rules change, and the final decision always rests with the office named on the page, such as the Beaverton Planning Division. Check with that office before you cut.
Estimates and work
Sending the form or calling us is a request for an estimate. It doesn't create a contract. Work is carried out only under a written estimate or agreement that both of us have accepted, and that document, not this website, sets out what will be done.
